We are open to applicants working with migrants from any region of Latin America and\/or the Caribbean. Diverse and innovative theoretical perspectives are encouraged, especially those engaging critical childhood studies, critical border studies, or critical work on race and gender. While we are open to candidates studying Latin American\/Caribbean migration in any area of the USA, we specifically encourage candidates working in the southern United States. Ideal candidates will show strong theoretical and methodological approaches grounded in long-term ethnographic work. The candidate should possess holistic training in anthropology. Candidates should have an active field research program that can involve undergraduates and graduate students, as well as a demonstrated commitment to community collaborations and public engagement.
