That program grew into the\u00a0<a title=\"Center for Latin American Studies\" href=\"https:\/\/as.vanderbilt.edu\/clacx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Center for Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies<\/a>, now recognized by the Department of Education as a comprehensive National Resource Center for the study of Latin America.
