Fault Line Film Festival – Accepting Student Entries

Posted by on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in Opportunities.

This program would like to welcome students to participate in the 11th Annual Fault Line Film Festival, a student film festival affiliated with Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau.  The festival is open to current university and high school students (and recent graduates), and they are looking for narrative short films and animated films (up to 15 minutes in length) in a variety of categories.  They also have a Long Form category, accepting films up to 30 minutes in length.  There is a $1000 cash prize for the Best of Festival recipient, as well as $250 cash prizes for category winners.  The deadline for entries is Sunday February 28th, 2021.

Due to ongoing concerns with COVID, the 2021 festival will be online.  The festival takes place April 12-17, 2021, culminating with our online gala/awards ceremony on Saturday April 17th.  Free online master classes will be offered to all festival participants.

This festival is an excellent opportunity for students to have their work recognized. You can get additional details through their website faultlinefilm.org
