We support a number of activities; including a seminar series, undergraduate and graduate courses, grant writing, trainee career development, and outreach.<\/p>\r\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/vu.edu\/microbiome\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vanderbilt Microbiome Innovation Center<\/a><\/h3>\r\n<p>The VMI brings together a group of scholars and scientists with multidisciplinary expertise from six different schools in the university; to create an infrastructure that unifies the microbiome community around complex challenges, catalyze campus-wide research, training, and teaching activities, and deploy state-of-the-science technologies and methods that will fundamentally advance science, therapy, education, and policy on a microbial world astonishing in its universality and diversity.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vumc.org\/viiii\/vi4-home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-sheets-value=\"{&quot;1&quot;:2,&quot;2&quot;:&quot;VI4&quot;}\" data-sheets-userformat=\"{&quot;2&quot;:513,&quot;3&quot;:{&quot;1&quot;:0},&quot;12&quot;:0}\">VI4<\/span><\/a><\/h3>\r\n<p>The goals of the Vanderbilt Institute for Infection, Immunology, and Inflammation are to train the next generation of scientists and physicians and to make fundamental discoveries in the areas of infection biology, immunology, and inflammation; aiming to increase knowledge and improve human health.<\/p>\r\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/vumc.corefacilities.org\/service_center\/show_external\/4096?name=vumc-imgsct-core-immunogenomics-microbial-genetics-and-single-cell-technologies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Immunogenomics, Microbial Genetics and Single Cell Technologies<\/a><\/h3>\r\n<p>The IMGSC provides high-throughput, high-resolution\u00a0immunogenomics sequencing,\u00a0including HLA typing, KIR typing, and ERAP typing.
