Nozomi Imai

Lecturer in Asian Studies (Japanese)

Nozomi Imai received her Master’s in Japanese Pedagogy at Indiana University. While pursuing the degree, she worked on various topics related to teaching Japanese such as corrective feedback, classroom instruction of Japanese onomatopoeia, and loanword acquisition. She completed her Bachelor’s in International Relations at the Linfield College in Oregon. She has been teaching Japanese at the collegiate level for the past four years. She has also worked as a teacher trainer at the 2019 ALLEX summer program.
