LA TARDEADA (Spanish Conversation Table)
Who?
All students interested in improving their Spanish-speaking ability (This is intended to accommodate ALL levels from Spanish 100 level students to native speakers)
What?
An informal discussion in the Spanish language with a Spanish section professor
When?
- ALL Fridays of January from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

McTyeire International House
Vanderbilt University offers a living/learning residential option for students who are enthusiastic about practicing their Spanish and learning more about the different cultures of the world.
McTyeire International House promotes the use of foreign languages and the awareness of different cultures. McTyeire offers programs to students seeking to improve their fluency in French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish or Russian as well as a program, offered in English, to students seeking to learn more about international topics. Students are required to speak their target languages or discuss international topics at specific activities, including weekly study breaks and international dinners served Monday through Thursday in McTyeire's own dining room. McTyeire's kitchen specializes in international cuisine from around the world.
