Orit Yeret Presents Modern Hebrew at Vanderbilt

Orit Yeret will be presenting at the Center for Second Language Studies on the teaching of Modern Hebrew at Vanderbilt.

Yeret joined the Vanderbilt faculty this past fall (2014) as the University’s first full-time instructor of Modern Hebrew. She is working to develop a curriculum for students at the elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels of study. She will be speaking on March 11th at 3:10- 4:00 at the CSLS,  Furman Hall Room 003. During her presentation she will give an historical overview of teaching Modern Hebrew in the U.S. and describe the successes and challenges of her work at Vanderbilt.
