The HPAO is closed on Labor Day.

DIRECTIONS to the HPAO office at 1801 Edgehill

The Health Professions Advisory Office (HPAO) is here to assist Vanderbilt undergraduate students (and others with a Vanderbilt affiliation) interested in attending health professions graduate schools. We meet with students interested in medicine (both allopathic and osteopathic), dentistry, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, podiatric, etc. Please call the HPAO office at 615-322-2446 and we will be happy to schedule a meeting to discuss your questions.

Students interested in an advanced career in NURSING are encouraged to contact Dr. Jana Lauderdale at the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing for advice and counseling.

We encourage students on a pre-health track to meet with our office at least once each year, and certainly more often if desired.  Please call the HPAO office at 615-322-2446 to schedule a consultation appointment.

We relay valuable information via email.  In order to be added to our ListServ email distribution list, students should send an email (from their Vanderbilt email address) to hpao@vanderbilt.edu and request to be added.
