DIRECTIONS to the HPAO office at 1801 Edgehill
The Health Professions Advisory Office (HPAO) is here to assist Vanderbilt undergraduate students (and others with a Vanderbilt affiliation) interested in attending health professions graduate schools. We meet with students interested in medicine (both allopathic and osteopathic), dentistry, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, podiatric, etc.

Students interested in an advanced career in NURSING are encouraged to contact Dr. Jana Lauderdale at the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing for advice and counseling.

We encourage Vanderbilt University students on a pre-health track to meet with our office at least once each year, and certainly more often if desired.

To schedule an Advising Appointment (20 minutes) or an Advisor's Student Applicant Portfolio (ASAP) Meeting (for VU pre-health juniors/seniors applying to graduate school for 2017 matriculation), please click on the button below:

We relay valuable information via email.  In order to be added to our ListServ email distribution list, students should send an email (from their Vanderbilt email address) to hpao@vanderbilt.edu and request to be added.
