Aubrey Porterfield
Aubrey is a fourth year Ph.D. candidate currently writing a dissertation on the global travels of the motif of the still body in transnational modernism. She researches twentieth century novels and short fiction, critical race theory, and theories of the human and the posthuman. She also has developing interests in children's literature and the child traveler in colonial spaces.
