1 One semester of calculus is prerequisite to ECON 1500, 1510, 3010, and 3020. Two semesters are better.

2 A student may present the following sequences is mathematical statistics in lieu of ECON 1500 or 1510:
For majors: Math 2820, 2820L & 2821 = Econ 1500; or Math 2820, 2820L with ECON 3050 = ECON 1500 & 3050.
For minors: Math 2820 & 2820L equals ECON 1500.

3 Only 3 hours of independent study will count in the major. ECON 1111 counts as an ECON elective below 3000.

4 ECON courses numbered 3000 and above have 3010 or 3020 as prerequisites and may use calculus.
