1 One semester of calculus is prerequisite to ECON 150, 155, 231, and 232. Two semesters are better.

2 A student may present the following sequences is mathematical statistics in lieu of ECON 150 or 155:
For majors: Math 218, 218L & 219 = Econ 150; or Math 218, 218L with ECON 253 = ECON 150 & 253.
For minors: Math 218 & 218L equals ECON 150.

3 Only 3 hours of independent study will count in the major. ECON 115 counts as an ECON elective below 250.

4 ECON courses numbered 250 and above have 231 or 232 as prerequisites and may use calculus.
